MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry College women's soccer team tied for the first time this season with Rhodes College after solid defensive play from both squads.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Both clubs had opportunities, but the match remained scoreless after both overtime periods
• Smart passing and fundamental defensive play allowed 11 combined shots on goal between the two teams

BERRY STATISTICAL STANDOUTS:

• Maggie Midkiff: 4 shots, 3 on goal
• Addy Cronan: 2 shots, 2 on goal
• Melissa Sahcnez: 5 saves

RHODES STATISTICAL STANDOUTS:

• Rachel Giampapa: 5 shots, 2 on goal
• Emma Selner: 2 shots, 1 on goal
• Anna Maldonado: 6 saves

NOTABLES:

• Rhodes held on to their third place spot in the SAA standings, Berry sits at fifth.
