Benham Named to Bevo Francis Award Watch List

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Braxton Benham of Berry Men's Basketball has just been revealed in the Top 100 Players to watch for the Bevo Francis Award by Small College Basketball.

Benham currently leads the Vikings in points with 308 on the season and averaging 20.5 a game (reaching his milestone of 1,000 points earlier this season). He is also a master at dishing out assists with 88 this season and averaging almost six a game to get his teammates involved. Nationally in Division III as of last week Braxton had many top 25 honors in the following categories:
#10 in Assists
#19 in Assists per game
#20 in Field Goal Attempts
#8 in Field Goals
#15 in Points

Joining Benham on this list is a very familiar face to the Vikings, Blake Campbell, a Berry Men's Basketball Alum now taking his fifth year at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Also joining the two from the Southern Athletic Association is Russ Marr of Sewanee.
