DICKSON, Tenn. - Berry Men's Golf closed out their season at the Greystone Golf Club with a third-place finish in the conference.
It was junior
Kevin Verrill who led the way, finishing tied for seventh overall among all players. Verrill had rounds of 73 (+1), 73 (+1), and 72 on the final day. He shot eight total birdies and had an eagle in round two!
His performance was followed by an overall ninth place finish from Freshman
Noah Farland with scores of 72, 71 (-1), and 76 (+4). The freshman showed out in the conference championship with eight birdies himself.
Another freshman,
Cam Baker had low rounds of 72, 75 (+3), 76 (+4) to round out his final tournament of the 2024 season.
Landon Painter,
Tyler Wengronowitz, and
Andrew Garger rounded out the team of Vikings with
Landon Painter's remarkable round of 69 (-3) in the final day.
Berry finished seven strokes behind Sewanee and Oglethorpe won the tournament with a final score of 861, while the Viking shot 877.
