MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Berry finished 4
th overall at the Wynlakes Invitational hosted by Huntingdon College.
After round one, the Vikings found themselves in fifth place with a total score of 299 for the team who was led by a low score of 73 (+1) from
Landon Painter.
No Vikings found themselves in the 80's across the first 18 with
Tyler Wengronowitz and
Noah Farland posting a round score of 75 (+3), while
Kevin Verrill shot 76 (+4) and
Cam Baker rounded out the team at 77 (+5).
In day two, Berry's final round was led by
Noah Farland's score of 69 (-3), the lowest score this Spring season. Farland ended up tied for seventh overall in the tournament and again the Vikings stayed in the 70 range. Verrill followed Farland at 74 (+3) and then came Baker and Wengronowitz at 76 (+4), then Painter shooting 79 (+7).
Berry was 10 strokes behind third place finisher Hampden-Sydney and the home A and B team captured the one and two spot for the tournament.
Vikings are back in action at the Cochran Collegiate April 15th.
