The Berry Vikings men's tennis team fell to Southern Athletic Association foe Birmingham-Southern by score of 6-3 in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday.
Juniors
Kyle Lutian and
Connor Murphy brought in the lone win for the doubles competition for the Vikings.
Noah Koch and
Carsten Balao played in a close match in line three, but lost 7-3 in the tie-breaker round.
The Vikings won again in line four of the singles competition, with
Connor Murphy rolling his opponent by scores of 6-0 and 6-3. The Vikings would win again in the sixth line of the match. Bohden Higley would play a close match that ended in his favor with scores of 6-4 and 6-3.
The Vikings will continue their road trip to Jackson, Miss., on Sunday, April 10
to face Millsaps College, another SAA opponent. The first match is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
