MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Men's tennis has secured the five seed in the SAA Tournament as they face Rhodes College on Friday at the Leftwich Tennis Center in Memphis.
The Vikings were narrowly defeated by Rhodes earlier this season and look to get over the hump in the first round.
The Vikings will be led by all-conference performers and duo, Jake Chapman and Aiden Benoualid. In singles, Chapman has knocked off five straight opponents, with his last loss coming to Rhodes on March 29. The duo of Chapman and Benoualid went 13-8 on the season and is looking for a big showing this weekend.
Jace Goode comes into the tournament having won two out of three in singles. Anderson Lambert has won two singles matches in a row as well as he carries momentum into the tournament. Lambert and Leo Nedkov will look to make waves out of their three position for doubles as well.
