Women’s Tennis Sweeps Birmingham-Southern; Men’s Tennis Drops Two Straight

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 Rome, Ga. – The women's and men's tennis teams competed against Birmingham-Southern this weekend for their final regular season match.

The women's team defeated BSC 8-1 in both matches over the weekend. Doubles team one, Allison Ivey and Juliana Mascagni won both matches with scores 8-3 and 8-2. All singles swept the Panthers for the weekend.

The men's team fell 7-2 on Saturday and 5-4 on Sunday. The Panthers won two of the three doubles matches both days, with Rory Glatt and Ben Knight winning on Saturday, 8-3, and Carsten Balao and Connor Murphy winning on Sunday, 8-3.

Murphy was the lone singles winner on Saturday, while Balao, Fant Smith and Kyle Lution won their matches on Sunday.

The women's team finished the regular season 11-2 overall and the men finished 7-6.
