MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Viking women's tennis is ready to rock and roll at the SAA Championships in Memphis, Tennessee, this weekend.
Having closed out the game with a resounding 7-0 victory over Oglethorpe, Berry goes into the tournament riding high on momentum.
The Vikings will take on Southwestern in the first round, led by all-conference singles performer Saris Mejia. Her and Carolina Hanson also got things done in doubles against Oglethorpe this past weekend. Maggie Cox also comes into the tournament on a high note, after winning singles and doubles in the two spots alongside Paige Evans.
Last time that the Vikings and Pirates met, the Pirates took control of the match but the Vikings have improved since then and are primed to turn the tables in the postseason.
