DEMOREST, Ga. – Maggie Midkiff scored twice as the Berry College women's soccer team defeated Piedmont, 4-1, on Wednesday night.
Meredith Beretta and Samantha Schoppy each tallied once in the win as well.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Midkiff opened up the scoring with her first goal off a pass from Ansley Rushing in the 25th minute.
- Piedmont's Cassidy Reich then tied the game at one goal apiece, opening up the second half with a tally in the 67th minute.
- Midkiff, Beretta and Schoppy then rounded out the scoring in the second half, ensuring the, 4-1, victory.
