MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The Berry College women's tennis team defeated Oglethorpe, 5-4, in the quarterfinals of the Southern Atheletic Association Championships on Friday.
The Vikings moved to 10-5. The Stormy Petrels' season ends at 11-10.
Berry trailed 2-1 after the doubles compettion. BC, however, then swept the top four singles flight to prevail by one point.
The fourth-seeded Vikes take on top-ranked Sewanee on Saturday in SAA semifinal action.
