Surls Records Singles Win For Berry, But Coe Defeats Vikings 8-1

Berry's Jonathan Surls won his singles match in straight sets, but that was the only point the Vikings could muster in an 8-1 loss to Coe in a men's tennis match Monday morning in Orlando, Fla.

Surls defeated Sean Stokstand 7-5, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles match to garner Berry's lone point of the match. Coe won the other five singles contests in straight sets, and swept the three doubles points.

Berry (1-3) is scheduled to return to action Wednesday against Cornerstone University.
