Jonathan Surls, Steven Weeks and Kyle Stapleton each won both their singles and doubles matches to help give Berry's men's tennis team a 6-3 victory over Covenant Tuesday in Lookout Mountain, Ga.

After sweeping the doubles matches, Berry needed just two singles wins to claim the win. It won three, as Surls won the match in the second slot and Weeks and Stapleton won the points in the fifth and sixth singles positions, respectively.

All three won in straight sets. Surls defeated Tom Yates 6-1, 6-0, Weeks beat Clark Sealy 6-4, 6-0 and Stapleton defeated Jake Sikkema 6-3, 6-3.

In doubles play, Surls and Logan Yerbey teamed up to defeat Andy Jones and John Hirte 8-3, Weeks and Ben Ortman defeated Yates and Calvin Chase 8-4 and Stapleton and Jake Pullen blanked Sealy and Sikkema 8-0.

The Vikings, which haven't played a home match this season, finally return to Richards Tennis Courts on Berry's campus on March 29, when they host Piedmont. That will mark the first of six straight home matches to end the season.
