Biography

ABOUT: Emmy is a native of Woodstock, Georgia, and she is the daughter of Jon and Gillian Mims. The finance major enjoys doing ceramics and volunteering in her local community. Her favorite superhero is Spider-Man.

HIGH SCHOOL: The Woodstock Wolverine made her name both in the swimming pool and in the classroom. She was inducted into numerous academic clubs and societies, including the NHS, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta Club, and the Elves Club. To round out her academic achievements, she was awarded the Georgia Certificate of Merit, the Certificate of Academic Excellence and graduated with honors. In the pool, Emmy made it to the state championships multiple times and won the Region 6-6A 200yd Freestyle Relay and the 200-yard individual medley.
