DAVENPORT, Fla. - Men's Lacrosse was back in action this afternoon at Northeast Regional Park to take on Clarkson, falling 17-5 in their final road game of Spring Break.
The scoring started in the first for Clarkson on a 3-0 run before
Finn McClendon scored one with a 1:17 to go in the first to close out the first 15 minutes of play.
The second period is where Clarkson was hot, scoring five goals and holding the Vikings to none. For the rest of the game, scoring would be difficult for Berry. Four more Vikings would tab in a goal a piece, but it would never be enough to clean up the Clarkson storm.
Offensively, Clarkson got off 57 shots compared to Berry's 12, 38 of those being on goal.
Berry's 30 turnovers also did not benefit them but created more scoring opportunities for Clarkson.
Berry final will get their go at home next week against Huntingdon College at 6:00 PM ET.
