DANVILLE, Ky. - Berry College Swim and Dive took on day one of the Southern Athletic Association Championship this afternoon.
Women's Highlights:
-The Women sit in fifth overall after day one with 60 points
-The quad of
Molly Heath,
Ashley Young,
Katie Groves, and
Sarabeth Brown took fourth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:49.06
-In the 800 Freestyle Relay
Emily Martin,
Ella Quigley,
Kathryn Meier, and
Lily Groves took the teams second fourth place finish (8:23.41)
Men's Highlights:
-The men sit in third overall with 92 points
-In the 200 Medley Relay,
Nick Fonzo,
Sam Tate,
Billy Blood, and
Evan Pelletier finished second overall with a time of 1:31.04, less than a second behind the first-place team from Rhodes
-Another second-place finish came in the 800 Freestyle Relay for the team consisting of
Nick Fonzo,
Ethan Whiting,
Sam Tate and
Evan Pelletier (6:52.32)
