MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Men's swimmer Nick Fonzo proved why he is one of the most sought after athletes in the conference this past weekend against Sewanee as he tabbed SAA Swimmer of the Week honors.

Fonzo was first among the men with a school record in the 100 Backstroke (49.54) and wins in the 100 Butterfly (51.09) and 200 Backstroke (1:52.93) on his way to leading the Vikings to a 173-121 victory over Sewanee. He also led off the 200 Medley Relay that won and set a new pool record (1:32.35)

Nick will look to continue his stellar start to the season this weekend as Berry battles Montevallo on Saturday at 12 PM ET.
