MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The winning streak continues with the Vikings 21
st consecutive win in the shut out of Sewanee in today's SAA Semifinals game, 9-0.
With
Casey Holloway and
Danielle Sudick doing the work in the circle, the Tigers only had one hit on the day as Holloway increased her record to 9-0.
Scoring three runs in the first, two off of walks, the Vikings were up 3-0 early and found a way to score six in the third inning.
Morgan Frye's 3 RBIs headlined the day in a crazy double to bring in all three, and she advanced off a throw and error to score herself!
The momentum was taken from Sewanee by this point and
Katie White went 3-4 at the plate, leading the team.
This win solidifies Berry as the host team for the SAA Championship series that will feature the Vikings versus the winner of the Birmingham-Southern pod. That game will take place tomorrow in Birmingham, Alabama.
