MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Berry Men's Golf finished 15
th in the Cochran Collegiate against top competition.
After three rounds,
Landon Painter was the frontrunner for the Vikings finishing tied for 31
st individually with round scores of 78 (+6), 72 (E), 79 (+7).
Kevin Verrill also had a par round in the third but shot 78 and 83 in the first and second rounds, respectively.
Tyler Wengronowitz,
Cam Baker, and
Jay Sanders rounded out the five for Berry and as a team they shot a low 305 in round one.
However, the team defeated SAA opponent Birmingham-Southern in the tournament and are looking forward to the SAA Championship beginning on April 26.
