JACKSON, Miss. - Berry Baseball Split with SAA opponent Millsaps on the road today with a huge win in game one and a close loss to follow.
Game One Berry 17 - Millsaps 6

Offensively, the Vikings were hot at the plate today tying their season high 17 runs on the Majors.Â
Each team went run for run in the first inning with the game tied at two before Berry's big five runs in the second.
After a walk and hit by pitch, a new Major came to the mound who would give up two more walks, a single, and a double from
Joey Garcia to take the Viking lead to 7-2.
Berry reached the ten-run mark in the top of the fourth with efforts from Garcia,
Riley Uhls, and
Levi Cloud. The Vikings refused to stop there in their explosive efforts in game one.Â
Chase Edmonds and
Joey Garcia led the team, scoring 4 and 5 runs, respectively, while Garcia was perfect at the plate going 4-4 with 5 RBIs as well.
The pitching staff held their own, combining with 8 strikeouts against Millsaps in the huge victory.
Game Two Berry 4 - Millsaps 5
The scoring in game two came differently with both teams combining for nine runs.
This time it was the Majors who got on the board first, scoring two runs in the bottom of the second. However, Berry responded with three of their own in the top of the next inning to take the lead at 3-2.Â
Joey Garcia's double and
Nick Brunswick's triple headlined the three-run inning. Brunswick shined in game two going 3-3 scoring a run and bringing in two as he increased the lead to 4-2 in the fifth to have the Vikings sitting nicely in the seven-inning game.
Two runs on three hits in the bottom of the sixth sealed the game with Berry unable to respond in the top of the seventh.
The Vikings look to take the series with the final game tomorrow at 1:00 PM ET.
