JACKSON, Miss. - Berry Baseball finalized their series on the road against Millsaps with another big victory at 18-8.
Mason Snyder Claimed the win for Berry on the mound giving up only two hits and the pitching staff combined for 10 strikeouts total in game three.
At the plate, the Vikings saw nine different pitchers from the Majors but that did not stop
Nick Brunswick who went 4-7 with three runs and four RBIs!
Both teams found two runs in the first and Millsaps took the 3-1 lead in the bottom of the second inning.
In the fourth, Millsaps dominated scoring five runs to reach their eight total run mark for the game. Now it was time for Berry to come to life offensively and they did just that with eight runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Nine hits across four Major pitchers in the inning proved that Berry could not be stopped. Brunswick's three run homer headlined the inning and
Levi Cloud's double continued the moment with runs still rolling in.
Now the Vikings had the lead at 10-8 with all of the energy on their side.
Andrew Pendleton,
Riley Uhls, and
Alex Knapp all had great performances at the plate as well in their efforts to take down their SAA opponent.
Berry will be back in action on Tuesday for their rescheduled game against LaGrange back at home for a game time of 6:00 PM ET.
