JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The men and women's golf team has completed their third rounds and finalized at the Jekyll Island Invitational.
The women finished 12th overall, one stroke behind Piedmont, but defeated conference opponent Oglethorpe.
The third round was led by
Teagan Fritts and
Sydney Bowes who both shot 82 and finished the tournament at 23rd overall.
Amanda Milner and
Clara Smith weren't far behind in today's round with a score of 86 and
Audrey Stafford shot 91.
Berry Men's team fell to 22nd with a final three round score of 913.
Throughout all rounds the team was led by
Kevin Verrill who finalized the tournament at 20th individually with a round three score of 77.
Noah Farland was the low scorer of the day at 75 and he was followed byÂ
Tyler Wengronowitz,
Jay Sanders, and
Cam Baker.
The Men return to action in Montgomery, Alabama, at the Huntingdon Invitational April 1-2 and the women will compete at the Max and Susan Stith Invitational the following week.
