MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Vikings Swim and Dive took down DIII opponent, Piedmont in today's home dual with a total score of 295-243 across 32 events.
Women's Highlights:
- Berry's women's team finished 1st overall with 154 points over the Lions 113 points.
- The quad of Vikings consisting of EK Martin,
Ashley Young, Katelyn Groves, and
Molly Heath took first in the Women 200 Yard Medley Relay, defeating the lions by three seconds.
- In the second event, the 1000 Yard Relay, another first place finish came for Berry as
Lexie Crosby had a time of 12:26.49 and teammate
Ella Quigley took third.
- A second and third place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle was sponsored by EK Martin and
Emily Wolf.

Molly Heath earned her way to the podium with a first place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:04.01.
- Katelyn Groves had a standout performance in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a victory.

Ashley Young stood out in the 200 Yard Butterfly finishing twenty seconds ahead of the second place finisher. (2:24.30)
- In the 1 meter dive, Jess Thomas claimed victorious with a score of 138.60.
- Young and Martin took top two in the 200 Yard Backstroke with impressive times of 2:20.09 and 2:22.29.
- Groves brought home the 200 Yard Breaststroke as she finished eight seconds ahead of Piedmont.

Emily Wolf and
Molly Heath took first and second during the 500 Yard Freestyle as they blew past the Lions.
- The 100 Yard Butterfly held two Viking's top finishers with
Kimberly Lila and
Lexie Crosby.
- In the final event, the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, the Vikings stormed by and won with a time of 3:51.28, 26 seconds ahead of Piedmont.
Men's Highlights:
- The Vikings outperformed Piedmont with a score of 141-130.
- In the 200 Yard Medley Relay the Vikings found first place behind Nicholas Fonzo,
Sam Tate,
Crawford Hightower, and
Pace Nelson with a time of 1:38.39.

Ethan Whiting earned first in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a stellar time of 10:20.39, nineteen second in front of the second place finisher.
- Berry held the top three finishes in the 200 Yard Freestyle with
Sam Tate coming in first, Nicholas Fonzo second, and
Billy Blood third.
- Whiting found his second victory of the night against the Lions in the 200 Yard Butterfly.
- In the 1 meter Dive, Josh Tolson won with a score of 251.70.
- Tate finalized the 200 Yard Breastroke with a victory time of 2:11.60.

Ryan MacKinnon had an impressive second place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle. He also finished first in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:03.19.
- Nicholas Fonzo and
Billy Blood took first and second in the 100 Yard Butterfly.
- In event 32, the Vikings defeated Piedmont in a close victory in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (3:17.81).
