MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry Vikings earned a senior day win among two other competitors, Life and Point University.
Prior to the Viking Invitational, Vikings Swim and Dive honored their four seniors for their commitment to the team:
Ryan MacKinnon,
Diego Torres,
Lexie Crosby, and
Jessica Thomas.
Women's Highlights:
- The women's team had a final score of 154 compared to second place finisher Life who scored 97, and Point coming in third with 21.
- In the first event, the Vikings took down life in the 400 Yard Medley Relay, defeating them by eight seconds.

Emily Wolf and
Lexie Crosby took second and third in the 500 yard free.
- Katelyn Groves and
Molly Heath battled it out during the 500 yard free, but Groves finished just .26 seconds ahead of Heath for a first place victory.
- In the 50 yard breaststroke,
Ashley Young took down all opponents with a time of 32.87.
- Groves found her way back to a win in the 50 yard fly.
- Young and EK Martin took one and two in the 200 yard free.
- In the 200 yard free relay, Berry owned the pool (1:45.58)
- Jess Thomas was the lone diver who earned first in the one meter dive.
- Young and Groves headlined the 100 yard IM.
- Young owned the 200 yard breaststroke for another number one individual finish.
- 200 yard fly consisted of a Katelyn Groves win over her only Point opponent (2:21.11).
Men's Highlights:
- The Vikings took down Life and Point with a final score of 151 while Life had 92, and Point with 38 across every event.
- A quad of Vikings earned a first place finish in the 400 Yard medley Relay and a third place finish with a second quad finishing strong.

Ryan MacKinnon and
Jack Button took the 400 IM with confidence and MacKinnon defeated Button as they both finished top two.

Sam Tate was victorious in the 50 yard free with a second separating him and the second place Life finisher.
- Second through fourth place was claimed by three Vikings in the 50 yard breaststroke,
Andrew Horn led the way.
- Nicholas Fonzo earned a tight first place finish in the 50 yard back (24.47).
- Tate and Fonzo again had a top three finish individually during the 50 yard fly to earn more points for the Vikings.
- With less than a second over Life, Berry claimed the win in the 200 yard free relay.
- Josh Tolson took the one meter dive for the Vikings.
- In the 100 yard IM Tate held a three second lead for a first place victory.
- Tate continued to row on in the 200 yard breaststroke win.

Pace Nelson earned his first place victory in event 30, the 100 yard free (50.03).

The Vikings head to Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday to take on BSC and Montevallo.
