The Berry College women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback Saturday afternoon on the road in a Southern Athletic Association matchup against Centre College.
After a 2-0 win early this week, the Vikings (3-6, 0-2 SAA) fell short against the Colonels (6-1-4). Nevertheless,
Maggie Jones recorded eight saves for the Vikings. Jones showed off with five outstanding saves withing the first 20 minutes of the first half, and three saves in the second half. Despite Berry's goalie performance, Centre's midfielder scored the only goal for the Colonels.
Berry will return to action back at home taking on Millsaps on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Bob Pearson Field.
