In an intense men's soccer showdown, the Berry College Vikings went head-to-head with the LaGrange Panthers on the Vikings' home field. The game was marked by a display of strong defense and two pivotal goals that made all the difference.
 
The first half was a tight contest, with both teams showcasing their defensive prowess. But it was Tracy Moon of Berry College who found the back of the net with just 12 minutes remaining in the half, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.
 
The second half saw the LaGrange Panthers pressing hard for an equalizer, but Berry's defense  stood firm, only allowing seven total shots on goal. Their coordination and teamwork denied the Panthers any breakthroughs.
 
The decisive moment came early in the second half when Jensen Brown doubled Berry's lead with a well-placed shot. The game ended with a 2-0 victory for the Vikings, thanks to their solid defense and clinical finishing.
 
The Vikings next contest will be on the road Saturday as they head to Centre to take on the Colonels.
