The Berry Vikings tied Centre College 1-1 in Southern Athletic Association play on Saturday in Danville, Ky.
Offensively, Berry outshot the Colonels 16-11, Dylan Bloch led the Vikings with 6 shots, 2 of them being on goal.
The Colonels struck first, early in the first half on a penalty scored by Everett Hauser in the 12th minute. Berry shifted things into another gear and earned two consecutive corners leading up to their 22nd minute goal from Dylan Bloch. Bloch scored his third goal of the year thanks to Nate Dulin's second assist this season.
Lukas Haritos started the second half in goal for Berry and had four saves, keeping the Colonels at bay while the Vikings offense pressed on. In a back and forth second half, neither team was able to find the back of the net, and the final whistle blew with both teams having a goal apiece.
The Vikings will face Millsaps College at home on Friday, at 5 p.m. at Bob Pearson Field.
