Berry's men's tennis season came to a close Friday in Chattanooga, Tenn., as the Vikings fell 5-2 to Center in the quarterfinals of the Southern Athletic Association Championships.
Berry trailed 2-1 after doubles play, with
Aiden Benoualid and
Connor Murphy earning a win in a tiebreak at the third line of doubles. In singles action,
Noah Koch, who entered as the No. 15 singles player in the Atlantic South Region, earned a straight sets victory even the match up at 2-2. That would prove to be Berry's only win in singles as Centre took three singles matches to close the dual out.
Koch finishes his season 11-2 in singles play.
Berry closes the season at 7-7, the most wins for the team since the 2018 season.
