Box Score The Berry women's basketball team turned in its best shooting performance of the season as the Vikings rolled past host Toccoa Falls 87-55 in a non-conference clash Thursday.
The Vikings, now 5-4 overall, ended the game connecting on 60 percent of their shots from the floor, including making 61 percent of their three-point attempts to cruise to the win over the Eagles.
Sydney Blankenship led Berry with a game-high 16 points, while
Sylvia Kahoro added 15 points as she connected on five three-pointers and
Faith Humphrey had 11.
Berry took a 23-18 lead at the end of the first quarter, then broke the game open outscoring the Eagles 25-10 in the second period to assume a 48-28 halftime lead. The Vikings kept the pressure on in the second half and took its biggest lead of the game, 82-49, early in the final stanza.
The Vikings remain on the road, heading to Florida to play in the St. Pete Classic in St. Petersburg, Fla., facing York on Sunday at 3 p.m. and Alverno on Monday at 5.
