ROME, Ga. — The Berry College women's lacrosse team fell to 0-2 on the year on Sunday, following a 19-1 loss to Georgetown.

Georgetown, an NAIA opponent, improved to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings struggled to slow the Tigers offensive attack, trailing 12-0 at halftime. Miranda Smith broke up the shutout with just over a minute remaining. Kristina Jones recorded nine saves in goal. 

Berry hosts Brevard on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
