MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Viking defense was clicking on all cylinders this past week, with Dani Taraska leading the charge and earning SAA Defensive Athlete of the Week.

The senior leader was outstanding as the centerpiece of the Viking defense, picking up 5 total ground balls and causing a total of 4 turnovers in the Vikings' two games of action. Dani's defensive effort helped the Vikings hold PIedmont and Spalding to just two goals apiece with two dominant wins for Berry as the result.

The senior from Bradenton, Florida, also was a firework offensively, tallying 2 goals in each game and a total of seven assists to round out her production. 

Dani will look to continue her stellar play against Muhlenberg on Saturday in Hilton Head, South Carolina!
