ROME, Ga. — Madeline Sandman led with 15 points as the Berry College women's basketball team closed the regular season with a 62-47 loss to No. 11 Oglethorpe University on Saturday night.

With the loss, Berry slipped to 12-13 overall and 6-8 in conference play. Oglethorpe improved to 24-1 and closed the year 14-0 in conference play.

Full Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tournament seeding will be released in the coming days. 

Sandman's 15 points led all scorers. Jana Morning also added 10 points. Berry struggled shooting on the night, connecting on just 25.4% of their shots from the field. Oglethorpe connected at a 40.4% clip.
