Men's Basketball Edged in Jackson 75-71

JACKSON, Miss. — The Berry College men's basketball team dropped a conference contest at Millsaps on Suunday afternoon, falling to 14-6 overall and 5-4 in league play. The Majors improved to 13-7 and 5-4 in conference. The Vikings and Majors are currently tied for fourth in the SAA standings. 

Micah Johnson led the team with 22 points. Caleb Haynes added 16 while DJ Estes scored 10 off the bench. Berry led 33-32 at the half, but the Majors put up 43 points in the second period to secure the win. As a team, Berry shot 43.3% from the field scoring 36 points in the paint. Millsaps benefitted from 13 fastbreak points. 

Berry travels to Rhodes on Friday for a 9:00 p.m. tipoff.
