JACKSON, Miss. — The Berry College men's basketball team improved to 2-0 in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play and 9-3 overall on Friday night with a 90-84 victory over the Millsaps Majors. 

The Vikings put five players in double-digits, led by Elijah Hirsh with 18 points. Ethan Haslam (16), Caleb Haynes (15), Myles Moore (14) and Cory Johnson (11) also posted double figures. 

Despite an uncharacteristically poor night at the free throw line, just 65.7%, the Vikings were 50% from the field and 30% from three-point range.
