ROME, Ga. -- Zarriah Pierce netted a team-high 10 points, but Rhodes College won at Berry College, 56-39, on Sunday at the Cage Center.

The Lynx moved to 11-10 and 5-5 in Southern Athletic Association play. The Vikings dropped to 8-13 and 2-8 in the SAA.

Pierce made 3-of-11 shots, drained two 3-pointers and converted both of her free throws. Megan Casey added eight points and Valerie McLure contributed seven points along with eight rebounds.

BC held a 13-8 lead after the first period. The Lynx had a slight 24-22 edge at halftime and never trailed in the second half.

Symone Daniels tallied a game-high 21 points and added 11 rebounds for Rhodes. Teammate Bailey Kramer posted 11 points and 13 boards.

RC led in rebounding, 46-38. The Lynx shot 34-percent (21-62) and held the Vikes to 24-percent shooting (12-50). Berry forced 13 and committed 21 turnovers.

The Vikings play at Birmingham-Southern on Friday night.
