MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Berry women's basketball team fell to Piedmont to close out the SAA/USA South Classic with a 76-69 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Lions shot 44.6% to the Vikings' 33.8%.
• The Vikings added 10 three-pointers to the Lions 8.
• The Vikings held the lead at half with a score of 46-34.
• The Vikings fought a tough game leading the game in rebounds (42-39) and
steals (9-7) but tying in blocks (2-2).

BERRY STATISTICAL STANDOUTS:
• Kristin Rampersad: 24 points, 7-for-15 FG, 6 3FG
• Rosie Lynch: 11 points, 4-for-7 FG, 2 3FG, 4 rebounds
• Ashley McKee: 10 points, 3-for-13 FG, 1 3FG, 2 assists
• Alex Weems: 9 points, 4-for-13 FG, 13 rebounds

PIEDMONT STATISTICAL STANDOUTS:
• Bridgette Kelly: 21 points, 6-for-10 FG, 4 3FG
• Carly Sales: 16 points, 7-for-15 FG, 7 rebounds
• Whitney Walker: 11 points, 3-for-4 FG, 1 3FG, 4 assists
• Dakota Sullens: 9 points, 3-for-7 FG, 12 rebounds

NOTABLES:
• The Vikings record now stands at 3-3 overall.
