Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Three Vikings scored in double-digits, but the Berry College men's basketball team lost at Rhodes College, 86-66, on Sunday afternoon.
The Lynx snapped BC's four-game winning streak, and improved to 9-8 and 3-3 in the Southern Athletic Association. The Vikings moved to 7-9 and 4-2 in the SAA.
Owen Jacobs notched a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Lee McCloud also tallied 14 points and Caleb Johnson contributed 13 for the visitors. McCloud converted 10 of his 11 free throws.
Rhodes held a 39-25 lead at halftime.
For the game, the Lynx shot 43-percent (21-49) to Berry's 33-percent (18-55). RC had nine 3-pointers to Berry's three. BC led in rebounding, 45-39.
The Vikings forced 14 turnovers, but had 21 miscues in the contest. Rhodes scored 30 points off turnovers to BC's six.
Rhodes had four players record double figures. Andrew Lowrie tallied a game-best 17 points (6-of-13 shooting) for the Lynx.
Berry hosts Centre College on Friday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m.
