ATLANTA, Ga. -- Mac Whalen recorded a team-high 20 points, but Berry College lost at Oglethorpe, 76-61, on Saturday night.

Whalen made five 3-pointers in the contest. Teammate Owen Jacobs scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The double-double was Jacobs' 11th of the year.

Berry fell to 3-11 and 0-4 in the Southern Athletic Association. OU moved to 14-1 and 4-0 on the years.

The Stormy Petrels held a 40-26 lead at halftime. Jacobs made a layup with 9:47 remaining to cut the margin to 53-44, but the visitors got no closer.

Tyler Courson netted a game-best 21 points for OU.

Berry plays at Toccoa Falls on Tuesday night.
