Box Score Whalen, Graham Score 15 Apiece To Lead Berry, But No. 13 Emory Wins 95-63

Mac Whalen and Lake Graham scored 15 points apiece for Berry, but the Vikings fell to No. 13 Emory 95-63 in Berry's home opener at the Cage Center Tuesday night.
Berry led by seven points early in the first half, but Emory fought back to take a two-point lead before embarking on an 11-0 run that put some distance between the teams. By halftime the Emory found itself ahead by 20 points, 47-27.
The second half was more of the same as Emory converted on 56.8% percent of its shots in the final 20 minutes of play.
The Eagles had three players reach double figures, including a game-high 21 from Jake Davis. Alex Gulotta and Austin Claunch added 10 points apiece.
Graham also pulled down eight rebounds to go with his 15 points for Berry.
Overall Emory shot 51.3%, including 32.3% from three-point range. The Eagles also held the advantage in terms of rebounds, hauling in 47 compared to Berry's 31.
The Vikings return to action when they host Maryville College on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m., at The Cage Center.
