ROME, Ga. — North Central scored six goals in the opening quarter, as the Berry College men's lacrosse team fell to the visiting Cardinals 14-8 on Friday afternoon.

With the loss, Berry slips to 0-4 on the year. North Central improved to 3-1. 

Berry trailed 6-2 after the opening quarter and trailed 9-3 at the half. Both teams traded blows in the second half, each scoring five goals apiece. 

Noah Miller, Colson Burgoyne and Samuel Fitzgerald each scored two goals. 

Berry opens conference play on March 13 at Rhodes.
