Ursin joins the Vikings Sports Information staff as a graduate assistant for the 2024-2025 year.
Aaron recently received his bachelor's degree from Millsaps College where he played men's basketball. Other than being a student-athlete Aaron worked for the Millsaps Sports Network and was a host on the Majority Rules Podcast and a writer for the Purple and White.
During his time as a Major he had a high 17-point game against Hendrix, and started in 20 of the teams 23 games. Prior to Millsaps Ursin played at East Texas Baptist.
Ursin provides support for game day operations, website administration, writing and editing, play-by-play commentary, public address, and also serves as a social media personality for the athletic department.Â
In December of 2025, Aaron was nominated for and elected to attend the Division III Emerging Elite as the first graduate assistant in the program's history. Ursin's voice was also a part of an award-winning broadcast facilitated by Viking Fusion in the 2024-25 men's basketball season.
Following his time with the Vikings, Ursin plans to move back home to New Orleans to work in sales for the New Orleans Pelicans and Saints organizations.
