ROME, Ga. – Berry College's track teams competed in the Rome 30K on Saturday, Dec. 6. Full race results

Senior and team captain Zack Jordan finished fourth overall, clocking in at 2:02:58. Berry alum Chase Babineaux ('12C) won the 30K in 1:50:16. 

Seniors Hibah Abuhamdieh and Nicole Fredette ran the entire 30K together, placing fifth and sixth respectively with an overall time of 2:34:50.

The rest of the Vikings formed relay teams to race the Rome 30K. Junior Kyle Harris, sophomores Ebenezer Agaro and Matt Walker, and freshman Robert Bevins won the 30K relay with an overall time of 1:47:18. (See their photo below.)

Senior Kayla Heflin, junior Rachel Dorris, sophomore Danielle Ferro, and freshman Nina Thomason won the women's division and placed fifth overall in 2:07:51.

Berry got first and second in the co-ed division as well. Seniors Michael Klein and Annika Stryker, sophomore Daniel Mushrush, and alum Brandon Davis formed the winning team. Senior Leslie Stewart, sophomore Sam Berendsen, and freshmen Rhett Butler and Alainna Chretien made up the second place team.

Berry will next race at the Kiawah Full and Half Marathon in Kiawah Island, S.C. on Saturday December 13th at 8 a.m.
