Women's Soccer Falls to DIII Powerhouse Centre in SAA Semifinals

DANVILLE, Ky. — The Berry College women's soccer team closed its season in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) semifinals on Friday, falling to Division III powerhouse Centre College 6-0.

Berry closes its season 8-7-3 overall, Centre improved to 20-0-0 on the year. 

The Vikings were held to just a single shot on the day, while Centre continued its high-scoring pace. The Colonels led 3-0 at the half before capping the contest with a trio of second-half goals. Kristin Dean led the way with two goals. 

Berry's Alyssa Stevens and Maggie Jones both faces eight shots in goal, recording five saves apiece. The Vikings will graduate just a single senior heading into next season.
