Proschansky, Midkiff Named to CoSIDA National Women's Soccer Team

ROME, Georgia -- The 2015‐16 Capital One Academic Soccer All-America Teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America have been released. The teams recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Maggie Midkiff and Becca Proschansky of Berry College earned the prestigious honor. The duo led Berry to a 10-6-1 overall record.

A senior defender, Proschansky was picked to the national second team. She led a defense which had four shutouts and a 0.92 goals against average. A native of Atlanta, she has a 3.97 grade point average and majors in psychology.

Midkiff, a junior midfielder, was tabbed to the national third team for the second straight year. She recorded 22 points on nine goals and four assists for Berry in 2015. Midkiff had three game-winning goals and holds Berry's NCAA Division III record with 121 career points (52 goals, 17 assists). A native of Macon, Georgia, she carries a 3.89 grade point average and majors in environmental science.
