Women's Golf Ranked No. 12 in WGCA Poll

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — The Berry College women's golf team heads into spring competition ranked No. 12 in the first Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Top-25 of the spring season. 

The Vikings are one of three Southern Athletic Association (SAA) programs ranked. Rhodes is No. 5 while Oglethorpe sits at No. 25. 

Berry closed fall competition at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational with a fifth place finish. The team was led by Jorie Hodapp who jumped eight spots on the final day to tie for fourth. She shot +11, 155 for the tournament. Karley Hammond finished 11th, shooting +14, 158. Allison Smith rounded out the Vikings' top-15 finishers, placing 14th with a +14, 159.

The Vikings will open spring competition at the Callaway Gardens Collegiate Invitational in Pine Mountain, Ga. on March 1-2.
