Women's Golf Earns WGCA All-Scholar Team Recognition

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — The Berry College women's golf team received recognition from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) last week, earning the All-Scholar Team GPA Award.

The Vikings ranked No. 13 in NCAA Division III with a 3.65 collective GPA. Marietta College took top spot in Division III while Southwestern University ranked second. Berry College was the only Southern Athletic Association (SAA) school recognized. 

Earlier this month, Berry's Morgan Collins, Chloe Wegienka, Jorie Hodapp, Karley Hammond, Erin Bruner and Allison Smith earned individual WGCA All-American Scholar honors. 

About the Women's Golf Coaches Association
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 600 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
