Kim Leads Women's Golf to Third Place Finish at MCC

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Berry College's Loren Kim earned a second place finish at the MCC Intercollegiate Tournament this afternoon to lead the Vikings' women's golf team to a third place finish overall.

As a team, the Vikings shot 611 (+35), trailing first-place Rhodes by eight strokes. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Kim shot a 73 in both rounds for a 146 (+2) overall to earn second. She trailed Centre's Plourde, the tournament winner, by two strokes.
  • Karley Hammond tied for third with a 148 (+4) after shaving two strokes in round two.
  • Jorie Hodapp jumped five spots to tie for sixth, shooting a 150 (+6)

  • The Vikings will compete at the NCAA Preview in Houston on Sept. 24-25.
