Crabtree Earns Google Cloud Academic All-District Honors

ROME, Ga. — Berry College softball's Samantha Crabtree earned her first career Google Cloud Academic All-District honor, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the organization announced on Thursday.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees to be announced in June.

Crabtree, a sophomore infielder from Marietta, Ga., boasts a 3.91 GPA in exercise science. She was a first-team All-Conference selection earlier this season, ranking inside the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) top-10 in hits (55), batting average (.437), runs (35), doubles (12) and on base percentage (.490).

The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams.
