ATLANTA — The Berry College softball team took the opening game 9-7 in a doubleheader from Emory Univertiy, but the second game was suspended due to loss of light. Game two will be resume at a later date.
With the win, Berry improved to 3-0 on the year. Emory fell to 0-1.
The Vikings trailed 7-0 in the game, but rallied to secure the victory. Six Vikings recorded multi-hit games, including Bayleigh Masteron and Kayla Sangrey who each homered.
Berry will host DePauw on Friday at 2:00 p.m. for the team's home opener.
