Women First, Men Second at Sewanee Cross Country Invitational

SEWANEE, Tenn. —  The Berry College men's and women's cross country teams closed competition at the Sewanee Invitational earlier today. The women earned the top spot, while the men placed second. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Berry women's team took the top four spots, led by Meredith Herman's first place finish.
  • Abby Carroll, Bethany Terpin and Mikey Mayes went 2-4. 
  • Alexa Bilsky finished sixth, and Alyssa Fowler earned eighth to put a total of six Vikings inside the top-10. 
  • The men were led by Will Knowlton's second place finish. 
  • Cameron Bensley (6th), Garrison Wheeler (8th) and Parker Roberts (10th) also placed inside the top-10.
