Swim & Dive Closes Competition at DII Emmanuel

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. — Despite falling to NCAA DII rival Emmanuel College on both the men's and women's side on Saturday morning, the Berry College swimming & diving teams put in strong swims and continue to make progress. 

"I’m very proud how everyone raced today, although we fell short by score, everyone is swimming well as the training is settling in," head coach Paul Flinchbaugh said. 


  • On the women's side Brooke Boyd and Haley Brown represented strong wins in opposite disciplines. Boyd won both the 1,000 (11:19.55) and 500 (5:31.64) Freestyle events. Brown took both the 50 (24.86) and 100 (54.49) Freestyles.
  • Dylan White earned a win in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:58.39 for the men's team. 


  • The Vikings host Savannah College of Art & Design on Saturday, Oct. 28 at home.
